Personalized Strategy Transformative Guidance

LIES You’re Told About Perimenopause:

  • TRUTH: Normal ranges ignore optimal function. Standard lab testing reference ranges are the average of people getting bloodwork and do not reflect optimal health. You can still experience significant symptoms and feel awful under “normal” ranges.

PAST: You’ve suffered through your doctor saying “your labs are normal” and sent home with a band-aid solution or dismissed, but you feel anything but normal.

CALL ME: I'll run comprehensive functional medicine lab tests that reveal what standard labs miss, then interpret your results for optimal function, not just “disease-free” ranges.

  • TRUTH: Suffering through perimenopause isn't inevitable. Weight gain, fatigue, brain fog and mood swings, for example, are symptoms of hormone imbalance, not unavoidable consequences of aging.

PAST: You've been told to accept feeling terrible as “just getting older.” You've resigned yourself to declining energy, expanding waistline and diminished quality of life.

CALL ME: I'll show you that perimenopause doesn't mean surrendering to symptoms. I’ll help you reclaim your waistline, energy, clarity, peace and vitality through targeted interventions that address root causes.

  • TRUTH: Anxiety, depression and mood swings during perimenopause are often driven by declining estrogen affecting neurotransmitters, not a mental health disorder requiring medication as the first solution.

PAST: You've been handed a prescription for antidepressants or anti-anxiety meds without anyone investigating your hormones, blood sugar, thyroid, or nutrient deficiencies. The medication didn't fix the underlying problem, and may have added unwanted side effects.

CALL ME: I’ll investigate the root causes of your mood symptoms—hormone fluctuations, blood sugar crashes, thyroid dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies—and address what's actually driving your anxiety and/or depression.

  • TRUTH: Perimenopause changes your metabolism. Restrictive diets and punishing cardio make hormone imbalances worse.

PAST: You’ve done restricted diets that made you feel hungrier and more exhausted. Even endured long, grueling workouts. But weight refused to fall off. Any results were short-lived and unsustainable.

CALL ME: I’ll show you how to work with your metabolism, not against it, using strategic nutrition, smart movement and hormone-balancing protocols that actually work during perimenopause.

  • TRUTH: Perimenopause can start in your mid-30s to early 40s, often 5-10 years before your final period. Age doesn't determine when your transition begins, symptoms and biomarkers do.

PAST: You've been dismissed because “you're too young for perimenopause” even though you're experiencing irregular periods, hot flashes, bloating, weight gain, crushing fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, or new symptoms. They get brushed off and blamed on stress or "just life."

CALL ME: I'll actually listen to you. I’ll investigate your symptoms, not dismiss them based on your age, and run comprehensive lab testing to determine if perimenopause is driving your struggles, regardless of how old you are.

Perimenopause’s “Critical Intervention Window”

Estrogen and Metabolism: Navigating Hormonal Transitions from Perimenopause to Postmenopause

Findings from the study underscore the importance of addressing metabolic health during the “perimenopausal hormonal transition,” and “not merely managing traditional menopausal symptoms.”

Journal of Mid-Life Health, Sep 5, 2025, PMID: 40951853

  • Perimenopause is “a critical yet often overlooked phase in women’s health.”

  • “The perimenopause transition is a distinct 2-4-year period marked by hormonal fluctuations, altered body composition, and increased risk of insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular disease.”

  • “Perimenopause represents a ‘metabolic transition window’ with unique physiological and clinical challenges that demand early recognition and proactive intervention.”

  • The study “advocates for a refined medical approach that positions perimenopause as a pivotal opportunity to optimize long-term metabolic outcomes in women.”

What you do now in perimenopause determines your health for decades to come.

  • Perimenopause isn't menopause. It's not PMS. And it's certainly not "just stress." It's a distinct transition of up to 10 years or more where your metabolism and hormones fluctuate wildly—disrupting everything from your sleep and energy to your thyroid, cortisol, weight, inflammation, mood and mental sharpness. This is why the advice that worked in your 30s suddenly fails you now.

Conventional doctors are trained to diagnose disease, not optimize function during a complex hormonal shift. They have minutes to see you, run basic labs, and if those labs fall within "normal" ranges, you're sent home and told you're fine. But you're not fine.

Perimenopause requires a specialist—someone who understands the nuances of this transition and the interconnectedness of all the systems in your body being impacted. Someone who interprets labs for optimal function, not just absence of disease. Someone with the training, tools, and takes time to listen to you and dig deeper.

As a board-certified functional medicine practitioner with advanced credentials in nutrition science, gut health and hormones (MS, CNS, LDN, FMCHC), I've dedicated my entire practice to this exact phase of a woman's life.

Perimenopause is the critical window where intervention has the greatest impact on your long-term health, metabolism and vitality. This is my primary focus and expertise. I’m committed to getting you answers and creating meaningful, sustainable improvements in every area of your health and life for decades to come.

  • I understand perimenopause intimately. I’ve lived it. I’ve also studied it, extensively.

My health symptoms started in my late 20s with inflammation, anxiety, and serious digestive issues despite doing all the “right” things. I was a green smoothie-drinking endurance runner and Ironman triathlete. I looked healthy from the outside, but on the inside I was a mess.

Doctors and specialists ran basic labs. Everything came back "normal." I was told I was healthy and maybe I just needed to take a laxative or anti-anxiety med. I remember the feeling of frustration and helplessness as my doctor briefly and inconclusively attempted to Google what else could be done as I sat there in the office. I knew deep down something was off, I didn’t feel like myself, this wasn’t all in my head. My body was trying to tell me something through my symptoms, but no one was listening.

This dismissal changed the trajectory of my career. I went back to school, earned my second master's degree, this time in functional medicine and nutrition, pursued advanced certifications and licensures, and immersed myself in the science of perimenopause, hormones, thyroid, autoimmunity and gut health.

I ran comprehensive labs on myself—not the basic panel my doctor ordered, but the deep-dive testing that revealed what was really happening. Low progesterone. Cortisol dysregulation. Subclinical hypothyroidism my doctor had missed. Insulin resistance my "normal" fasting glucose had hidden. Leaky gut and food sensitivities.

Within six months of addressing these root causes, I felt like myself again. My energy returned. The brain fog lifted. My anxiety and irritability dissolved. My skin cleared up. And, I could poop again!

Now, as a functional medicine practitioner specializing in perimenopause, I help women skip the years of suffering I went through. I understand the frustration of being dismissed. The confusion of doing "everything right" and still feeling terrible. The helplessness of watching your body change in ways you can't control. The fear that this is just how life will be from now on. I've been there. And I'm here to tell you: You don't have to accept this as your new normal. There are answers. There is a path forward. And I know how to guide you through it—because I've walked it myself.

  • My approach works because it addresses what your body actually needs during perimenopause—not what worked in your past, not generic wellness advice, and definitely not the "eat less, exercise more" prescription that makes hormone imbalances worse. I use comprehensive clinical functional medicine lab testing to uncover your unique hormonal, metabolic, and gut health story, then create a personalized roadmap designed for your specific imbalances. Not guesswork. Not generic protocols or meal plans. Your biology, your data, your preferences, your specific strategy and solution.

I've reviewed 1000s of labs, trained practitioners on the nuances of turning data into actionable and effective interventions. I’ve guided hundreds of women through the perimenopause transition, and the results speak for themselves.

Women who couldn't lose weight despite restricting calories and working out six days a week finally understand why—cortisol, thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, disrupted sleep, shifts in estrogen and progesterone—release weight and regain energy once we address the root cause.

Women who were simply dismissed or told they were "too young" for perimenopause finally get validation, answers, and a path to feeling like themselves again.

The difference between my approach and what you've tried before comes down to three things: comprehensive testing (so we know exactly what's happening in your body), personalized protocols (tailored to your unique imbalances and needs, not one-size-fits-all advice), and time plus expert one-on-one guidance (because healing your gut takes three to four months minimum, reversing insulin resistance doesn't happen overnight, and hormone balance requires patience and iteration). I don't offer quick fixes or magic pills. I offer root-cause resolution. Sustainable transformation. The kind of results that last because we've addressed why your body wasn't working optimally in the first place.

These are completely optional, but have potential to amplify results once you’ve laid the appropriate foundation. Skipping ahead to these treatments or biohacking measures can turn out to be expensive, temporary solutions.

  • At the midpoint, we’ll review your progress and remaining goals, and put together a game plan for the second half of the program.

We’ll establish a strategy for three lab retests to collect quantitative data, verify our interventions have accomplished their intended purpose, and guide next steps to optimize your health and vitality.

    1. Comprehensive bloodwork: thyroid, metabolic, insulin resistance, nutrients, liver, cholesterol, immune function, and more

    2. Hormones, adrenals, toxins

    3. Gut microbiome, autoimmunity, inflammation, neurotransmitters

We’ll establish a lab retest strategy during our 6-month assessment session.

  • At the completion of your 12-month program, I’ll put together a tailored plan to keep you on track based on everything you’ve learned and accomplished according to your preferences.

Research shows that all diets work and all diets within about 6-12 months. The maintenance protocol we establish, when followed through on, is where the improvements you feel will be sustained and multiply.

  • Every year, I’ll meet with you for a complimentary session to review your health questions, concerns and goals—and provide answers and recommendations.

  • Join an exclusive group of women to receive first notification when new Radiance Retreat dates are announced.

You’ll receive early access to reserve your spot to these intimate, faith-centered retreats that are intentionally limited to small groups to preserve a personalized, retreat atmosphere that foster deep connections and transformation.

Destinations and expert speakers will vary to make each retreat fresh and unique for repeat attendees.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your regular doctor is excellent at diagnosing and treating acute disease, illness or injury, yet too often cover symptoms with medication. However, most of us are dealing with chronic health conditions driven by diet and lifestyle that must be addressed.

Functional medicine focuses on addressing root causes and optimal health—helping you heal and thrive, not just “not be sick” and mask symptoms with medication.

This is why conventional medicine often fails to provide sustainable root cause resolution.

    KEY DIFFERENCES

    • TIME: Your doctor only has minutes to see you per appointment, often times making you feel rushed, unheard and ignored. I take the time to listen to you—your questions, frustrations, challenges and goals. I start with an intentional 90-minute intake session to understand your complete health story and symptoms, enabling us to build your personalized health strategy and plan that is targeted and sustainable. For each of your lab tests, I spend time analyzing them in depth and review the results with you, 30 minutes per lab. I also provide ongoing support during weekly meetings and 24/7 direct messaging access to make adjustments as needed.

    • TESTING: Conventional medicine tests for “normal ranges” and typically doesn’t address it until tipping into diagnosis and need for medication. I test for optimal function using both conventional labs and predictive, preventative functional lab panels. I interpret 100s of data points from your lab test results, which are then turned into actionable recommendations to incorporate into your personalized health strategy and plan.

    • ROOT CAUSES: Your doctor “treats” symptoms with prescription drugs, while under the surface the disease process continues. I find WHY you're experiencing symptoms, your unique combination of reasons, so we can actually address your underlying root cause imbalances that your body is communicating through symptoms. Our bodies are interconnected systems, so instead of addressing one symptom or organ system, I look at how everything works together to restore balance to your body, allowing it to heal.

    • APPROACH: Conventional medicine focuses on pharmaceuticals. I use research-based interventions in combination with your personal medical history and lab test data to naturally rebalance your body through nutrition and lifestyle interventions and targeted supplementation. Only then will optional but advanced strategies like bioidentical hormones (BRHT), GLP-1s or other peptides be safe, effective and provide lasting results. Everything is personalized to YOUR body's needs.

    • PARTNERSHIP: I work directly alongside you to get answers and address any issues that we identify. I also help you to be an advocate with your conventional doctor, knowing how to confidently ask for what want and need in order to maximize that visit and resource. At minimum, I complement conventional healthcare providers, and sometime even replace them, with deeper investigation and root-cause solutions.

  • Yes, Perimeno is a 100% virtual practice. I work remotely online with clients nationwide and worldwide via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform called, Practice Better.

    HOW IT WORKS

VIRTUAL SESSIONS: All one-on-one sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant phone or video conferencing. You'll meet with me from the comfort of your home—no travel required.

LAB TESTING: Labs can be done at any LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics or another lab partner location near you (there are thousands nationwide). I send you a lab requisition, you get blood drawn locally, results come directly to me. The rest of the lab kits are drop-shipped to you for easy and convenient home collection (e.g., stool, urine, saliva).

SUPPLEMENTS: I recommend and provide access to clinical-grade supplement brands that are third-party tested and verified for quality, stored properly and shipped directly to your home from the manufacturer.

ONGOING SUPPORT: Between sessions, we communicate via secure messaging as needed. Apart from our regular weekly check-ins, you’ll have 24/7 direct messaging access for any questions or concerns that may arise. Rather than going large spans of time between appointments with your conventional doctor, my ongoing support will help you progress faster through real-time feedback and adjustments.

WHERE I WORK: I currently work with clients throughout the United States and around the world. Distance is not a barrier. The only requirement is reliable phone or internet service for calls and/or video meetings, and access to a lab draw location (e.g., LabCorp, Quest).

  • After working on some of the most complex cases in the world, I can confidently tell you that if you’re coming to me, you have yet to try everything… even though it may feel as if you have. Your symptoms result from a combination of factors that are unique to your physiology, lifestyle and genetics. That’s what we’ll identify and address. I invite you to a free, no-obligation 30-minute introductory consult for a fresh perspective.

Most of my clients come to me after trying:

    • Lab tests they thought were comprehensive but were missing essential data

    • Restrictive diets that made them unsatisfied, hungrier, irritable, depleted, tired

    • Random supplements from internet searches and social media that didn't help

    • Bioidentical hormones, GLPs, peptides or treatments without proper guidance

    • Pharmaceutical meds that suppress symptoms but fail to address the root cause

    • "Eat less, exercise more" advice that backfired, causing frustration, exasperation

    HERE'S WHY THOSE APPROACHES FAILED

NO TESTING/INCOMPLETE TESTING: You can't fix what you don't measure. Without comprehensive, personalized testing, you're guessing—and guessing rarely works. Plus, you’re likely wasting your time, money and effort. Let’s make sure your resources get maximum results.

NO/WRONG DIAGNOSIS: "You're fine" or "it's just stress" misses the actual hormone and metabolic imbalances, inflammation, autoimmunity, nutrient deficiencies, insulin resistance, thyroid and cortisol dysfunction, or gut issues driving your symptoms. A diagnosis is often an excuse to cover up symptoms with pharmaceuticals rather than addressing the terrain that caused it in the first place. Let’s not wait until the diagnosis stage. Let’s identify when things are trending in the wrong direction and turn things around.

ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL: What worked for your friend, someone online, or social media influencer often won’t work for you. Your hormone levels, genetics, stress response, food preferences and metabolism are unique, requiring a highly personalized strategy and plan.

SYMPTOMS-ONLY APPROACH: Treating symptoms without addressing root causes never creates lasting change. You’ll continue to chase symptoms and add more prescriptions to cover up the side effects without ever truly feeling good and balanced.

    MY DIFFERENCE:

    • I actually LISTEN to you, giving you time and attention because you know your body

    • I first TEST, COMPREHENSIVELY (hormone, metabolic, nutrient, gut panels, etc)

    • I interpret results and make connections for OPTIMAL function (not just "normal")

    • I create YOUR personalized protocol based on YOUR specific imbalances and needs

    • I address underlying ROOT CAUSES, rather than covering up symptoms temporarily

    • I make ongoing real-time ADJUSTMENTS as your body responds (not one-and-done)

If you've tried "everything," you haven't tried THIS.

  • Most clients notice improvements in stages. Everyone's timeline is unique, but you will start to experience benefits in the first 1-2 weeks. Different health issues have different timelines, as do their treatments.

Keep in mind, your symptoms developed over months, years and sometimes even decades. Symptom reversal and healing takes time. You’ll start to feel significant improvements in weeks that will continue to compound over 6-12 months and beyond.

Unlike quick fixes that don't last, my approach creates sustainable transformation.

Most clients say: "I didn't realize how bad I felt until I started feeling good again."

  • I run comprehensive labs that go far beyond basic, conventional testing—looking at optimal function, not just disease. There are certain biomarkers I run for every client, but I tailor any additional testing according to your individual needs.

COMPREHENSIVE HORMONE PANEL (BLOOD & URINARY METABOLITES):

    • Estrogen (E1, E2, E3—not just “estrogen")

    • FSH (strong metabolic signaling marker)

    • Progesterone

    • Testosterone (total and free)

    • DHEA-S

    • Cortisol (4-point salivary pattern for daily rhythm)

    • Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)

    THYROID (COMPLETE, NOT JUST TSH):

    • TSH, Free T3, Free T4

    • Reverse T3

    • Thyroid antibodies (TPO, TG)

    METABOLIC MARKERS:

    • Fasting glucose and insulin

    • HgbA1C (3-month blood sugar average)

    • Lipid panel (cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL, VLDL)

    • hs-CRP, homocysteine (inflammation markers)

    NUTRIENTS:

    • Vitamin D

    • B12 and folate

    • Iron panel (ferritin, TIBC, serum iron)

    GUT HEALTH:

    • Comprehensive stool analysis

    • 8 markers of inflammation

    • Gut infections, pathogens, parasites, bacterial overgrowth

    • Digestive insufficiency markers (stomach acid, bile acids, gallbladder, pancreatic enzymes)

    • Autoimmune antibodies, leaky gut markers, gluten sensitivity, histamines

    • Neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, etc)

    • 170 commensal bacteria (probiotic need identifier)

The specific tests depend on your symptoms and health history. We don't run unnecessary tests—only what's needed to understand YOUR unique situation.

ALL TESTING IS DONE THROUGH CERTIFIED LABS (LabCorp, Quest, lab partner networks). Results are interpreted for optimal ranges, not just "normal" disease ranges.

  • I’ll provide a link to the closest certified lab draw location for your blood draw. The remaining labs will be sent to you for easy, convenient home collection (urine, stool, saliva). You’ll receive prepaid shipping labels to drop your labs off at a FedEx location or schedule a FedEx pick up.

  • I’ll provide detailed interventions and options for anything that may arise. We’ll work together to build and implement your treatment plan from start to finish. In rare instances, we may need to get a doctor or pharmacist involved. I’ll guide you through self-advocacy to ask for what you want and need. If you don’t have a doctor or insurance, I can direct you to other resources and self-sourcing options.

  • Hormone replacement is ONE of many tool in our toolkit—not a requirement. Bioidentical hormone replacement is very safe and effective for most women, but we need to consider your unique case and preferences. If you choose to go on BHRT, we’ll closely monitor labs and symptoms to ensure proper deliver method, dosage, ratios, safe pathways, and more.

THE FOUNDATION FOR BALANCED HORMONES MUST START WITH:

    • Metabolic optimization (balancing blood sugar, supporting thyroid, lowering inflammation)

    • Gut healing (better hormone metabolism, thyroid hormone conversion, detox)

    • Targeted supplements, foods, nutrients that support hormone production

    • Stress management (lowering cortisol, improving progesterone)

    • Sleep restoration (crucial for hormone production)

    • Reducing toxic burden (endocrine disrupting chemicals, heavy metals, obesogens)

    IF HORMONES ARE APPROPRIATE:

    • We use bioidentical hormones (identical to what your body makes—NOT synthetic)

    • We start low, go slow, and monitor closely

    • We use the safest routes and deliver method that is best for your body

    • YOU are always in control of treatment decisions

IMPORTANT: The decision is always yours. I'll educate you on all options, show you the research, and support whatever choice feels right for your body.

  • Our goal is maximum variety and diversity of foods you enjoy and that nourish your body, brain, gut microbiome and hormones.

In some cases of digestive dysfunction, autoimmunity and food sensitivity, we may need to temporarily restrict some foods while healing leaky gut and addressing underlying imbalances.

I don’t believe in deprivation, strict calorie/macro counting or restrictive dieting—those approaches are unsustainable and backfire, especially during perimenopause.

    MY APPROACH

FOOD IS FUEL, NOT THE ENEMY: I focus on adding nutrient-dense foods that support hormone balance, optimized blood sugar, and fuel metabolism, not taking away foods you love.

PERSONALIZED: Your plan is based on YOUR body's needs, guided by labs, symptoms and personal taste preferences. Some women do great with grains; others feel better reducing them. Some need more carbs; others thrive on more protein. Plus, if you don’t enjoy what you’re eating, you won’t stick with it long term. There’s no one-size-fits-all.

STRATEGIC ELIMINATION (TEMPORARY): If testing reveals food sensitivities or if you have gut issues, I might suggest eliminating certain foods temporarily (2-3 months) to allow healing. But this is strategic and temporary—not forever—to reduce inflammation and immune reactivity before a systematically guided reintroduction plan.

NO STRICT CALORIE COUNTING: Restrictive calorie diets worsen hormone imbalances. I focus on WHAT you eat (nutrient quality) and WHEN you eat (blood sugar stability)—not obsessing over calories.

Hormones direct fat storage, fuel burning and metabolism, so when those are off, it doesn’t matter how much you restrict. But when balanced, your body will be metabolically flexible and able to release fat.

You’ll be provided with food plans to guide you that don’t involve strict calorie counting but teach you how to eat in the real world.

SUSTAINABILITY: If you can't maintain it for life, it's not the right approach. I create protocols, recipe ideas and simple shift to make what you’re already doing more effective. I want you to eat in a way that feels sustainable and enjoyable for the long term, while allowing for real life interruptions, celebrations and travel.

  • Functional medicine is a science-based approach that looks at the body in an interconnected systems approach, asking "WHY are you experiencing symptoms?" instead of "What can we do to cover up or suppress symptoms?"

    KEY PRINCIPLES

ROOT CAUSE FOCUS: There’s always a reason for the root cause for your symptoms, and it’s not a deficiency in ibuprofen, anti-anxiety/depressants, laxatives, or sedatives. For example, instead of giving you a sleep medication for insomnia, I investigate WHY you can't sleep—often high cortisol, low progesterone, gut inflammation, blood sugar crashes, or magnesium deficiency—and address those root causes.

PERSONALIZED: Your treatment plan is based on YOUR unique health history, genetics, hormone levels, gut health, stress response, and lifestyle—not a one-size-fits-all protocol. We can also utilize biometric tracking data, such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).

SYSTEMS APPROACH: Your body is interconnected. Gut problems affect metabolism and hormones. Hormones affect mood, cognitive function, inflammation and metabolic rate. Cortisol (adrenals) and stress hormones affect blood sugar, gut health, immune function, sleep, and tank your hormones (e.g., testosterone). I look at how all your systems work together, to help address imbalances from every angle.

TESTING-DRIVEN: I use comprehensive lab testing to understand what's actually happening in YOUR body—not guessing based on symptoms alone. I look at the entire pathway, so if something is going off the rails we know exactly how to support it to rebalance your body. Together, we’ll also closely track your symptoms and connect them to your lab data to get you answers.

PARTNERSHIP: You're an active participant in your health. I educate you so you understand your body and can make informed decisions. The more you lean into my support, process, curiosity to learn and grow, the more you’ll get out of my program. I’m committed to helping you achieve success and optimal health, but I can’t do the work for you.

PREVENTION: Prevention is the best intervention and I don't wait for disease to develop. I look at your genetic weak links, symptoms and how your lab trends to turn things around before it ever gets to diagnosis or disease state. I optimize function NOW to prevent problems later. It's the medicine your doctor WOULD practice if they had more time with you, and if insurance paid for prevention instead of just disease treatment.

  • Click this link to take the Perimenopause Symptoms Survey in Practice Better, my HIPAA-compliant platform. I’ll review and send your results with personalized recommendations. Perimenopause typically begins in your 40s, but can start in mid-30s, and lasts 4-10 years before your final period.

    COMMON SIGNS YOU'RE IN PERIMENOPAUSE

    HORMONAL:

    • Irregular periods (shorter/longer cycles, heavier/lighter, spotting)

    • Hot flashes or night sweats

    • Breast tenderness

    • Worsening PMS

    METABOLIC:

    • Weight gain (especially belly fat) despite no diet changes

    • Difficulty losing weight even with diet/exercise

    • Increased sugar cravings

    SLEEP:

    • Insomnia (trouble falling or staying asleep)

    • Waking between 2-4am

    • Night sweats disrupting sleep

    COGNITIVE:

    • Brain fog, memory issues, lost words

    • Difficulty concentrating

    • Mental fatigue

    EMOTIONAL:

    • Anxiety (new or worsened)

    • Depression or low mood

    • Irritability, mood swings

    • Feeling "not like yourself"

    ENERGY:

    • Crushing fatigue despite adequate sleep

    • Afternoon energy crashes

    • Exercise no longer energizes you

IMPORTANT: "Normal" labs don't rule out perimenopause. Hormones fluctuate wildly during perimenopause—you can have “normal" ranges and still be symptomatic because of ratios, genetics, inflammation, detox, hormone metabolite pathways and more. Let’s talk.

  • I don't bill insurance directly, but many clients successfully use their benefits:

HSA/FSA FUNDS: I accept HSA and FSA payments for all programs. Functional medicine services typically qualify as eligible medical expenses.

SUPERBILLS: I provide detailed superbills (itemized receipts) you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by plan—some clients receive 50-80% back, others receive nothing. I recommend calling your insurance to ask about “out-of-network functional medicine” coverage.

LAB TESTING: Some lab testing may be covered by insurance depending on your plan. I can help you understand which tests might be covered.

WHY I DON'T BILL DIRECTLY: Insurance typically covers 15-minute appointments focused on disease management. My longer sessions focused on root-cause healing and optimization don't fit their billing model. Not accepting insurance allows me to spend the time you need without rushing or limiting our scope. While some of the basic blood work may be covered, most is not, and all of the functional medicine labs are considered “preventative medicine,” which insurance does not cover.

HEALTH CARE SHARING MINISTRIES: Some of my clients have had success getting reimbursement through health care sharing ministries.

  • I offer three program options designed for different needs and timelines:

    1. ESSENZA • ESSENCE (4-Month Foundation Program)

    2. ARMONIA • HARMONY (6-Month Comprehensive Program)

    3. LUMINOSITÀ • LUMINESCENCE (12-Month Concierge Program)

All programs include hormone and biomarker testing, personalized protocols, one-on-one sessions, and ongoing support.

Flexible payment plans are available for all programs, and I accept HSA/FSA funds. Some clients have had success with Superbill and Health Care Sharing Ministries reimbursement.

The investment covers everything you need—testing, interpretation, protocols, supplement recommendations, expert guidance, and 1-on-1 and ongoing support.
